Obituary of CLYDE JOHNSON

Please share a memory of CLYDE to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On February 24, 1953 in Boley, Oklahoma a baby boy was born to Pasco and Ioler Johnson. They named him Clyde Herbert Johnson, but he affectionately became known as "Daddy." He graduated Boley High School. In 1972 he met and married Patricia Summers and to this union two children were born; daughter, Shavonne and son, Matthew Johnson. Patricia preceded Clyde in death. He retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas Company after 27 years of service. In 2011 Clyde met and married Linda Jefferson and her two children, Louis Jefferson and Anthony Wilson. They became a blended family. At an early age, Clyde accepted Christ and became a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Boley, Oklahoma. Upon his marrage to Linda, he began to attend Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa until his health began to fail. Clyde was a loving husband and father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Clyde loved his grandson Davon (his heart) Johnson. He was a very happy and loving person and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pasco and Ioler, sister, Marie Mesley and brother, Pasco Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Linda; a daughter, son and grandson and two step-sons, one brother, Calvin Johnson and a host of relatives.
