Charles Eugene Owens, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at his home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was born on April 17, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ralph and Dorothy Owens. Charles served his country in the US Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal for sharpshooting and he later retired from electrical construction and repair work as a Journeyman Electrician. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Owens, his son, Chuck Owens and his Great Granddaughter, Elyzibyth Dennis. Charles is survived by his wife, Retha Owens, his mother, Dorothy Owens, his sister and her husband, Doris and Zane McCulley and his three daughters and their spouses, Monica and Jason Wilson, Bonnie and Wesley Horton and Melissa and Perry Jones. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Tiffany Latty, Tom Laster, Misty Wilkerson, Nic Laster, Retha Laster, Tyler Wilson, Marcella Wilkerson, Katrena Grim, Johnathan Jones, and by seven great grandchildren.
