Obituary of Frank Euene Adams
Frank Eugene Adams of Owasso, OK passed away March 27, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was 74. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elsie, and their four children: Melody Jeschke, and husband Mark, of Dothan, AL, Murray and Paula Adams of Owasso, OK, Stephen and Lisa Adams of St Charles, MO, Timothy and Lisa Adams of Aurora, CO. Frank and Elsie have 9 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a plethora of nephews and nieces. He lived in Owasso for 42 years but was born December 19, 1938 in El Dorado Springs MO to Floyd and Irene (Leeper) Adams, both deceased. He is survived by siblings: Naomi Alkire of Paola, KS, Esther Edmondson of Gardner, KS, Jimmie Adams of Springfield,MO, and Alice Sharp of Sperry OK, and cousin Robert Leeper of Stanley, KS.
Frank served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-59 on the Radar Picket Destroyer Escort U.S.S. Sturtevant DER 239 and submarine U.S.S. Bream SSK-243. He was initiated into the Solemn Mysteries of the Ancient Order of the Deep under the Domain of Neptunus Rex on Nov 4, 1957 when he sailed across the equator aboard the Bream.
Frank invested his life as a preacher of the Good News that Jesus Christ loves all humanity. He retired in October 2011 after 50 years in active ministry. He graduated from Trinity Bible College in Tulsa, he founded and pastored four churches in OK and TX, preached in 20 states and 10 countries; including Mexico, Japan, Canada, Honduras, Trinidad, India, Haiti, Nepal, Zimbabwe, and Russia.
