Billie Jane Collins, born September 19, 1924 Tulsa, Oklahoma, died December 15, 2011. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00PM Monday, December 19, 2011, View Acres Baptist Church, Berryhill.
Billie passed from this life at home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Davis Collins; her parents, William B. Williams & Janie Ann Williams; 2 sisters, Dorice Corbett & Phoebe Jones & a brother, Clifton Williams. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ann Kapple & Sharon Daniels; 4 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren: Keith & Sony Kapple (Vinny & Hena), Shelly & Chuck Smalley (Taylor & Chance), Mike & Susan Daniels (Allison, Alycia & Ashleigh), Christy & Darren Smith (Hunter, Zack & Ireland). 2 sisters, Dana Sullivan and Helen McKenzie, One sister-in-law, Shirley Williams & several great nieces & nephews also survive her. A family graveside service will be held at Green Hill Memorial Gardens prior to the Celebration of Life. Billie was a wonderful wife & mother, full of life, love, determination & strong "True Grit". She fought a long hard battle and never lost her "Sweet Spirit". She loved her church, Eastwood Baptist, family gatherings, square dancing, painting and camping. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her but we know she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus and her loved ones. We will be together again one day.
