Mom went to her heavenly home peacefuly surrounded by family on May 2, 2013 after a battle with cancer. She was born in Texas October 3,1932 to Bernice Johnson Williams and Tom Williams.
She spent most of her life inSapulpa. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and married LesterThompson. From that union came two children, Karen and Mike.
She developed a great passion for fishing and later hunting. She usually out-fished and out-hunted even the men. After hearing the hunting stories from the men she quit staying at camp and went, too. After her children were grown, she became an alcohol and drug abuse counselor for U.C.A.P. She helped many people on their journey to sobriety and was a member of the Sapulpa Serenity Group.
She is surivived by her children, Karen (Mike) Pugh and Mike (Diane) Thompson. She is also survived by the greatest joys of her life, grandsons, Brion Sinor, Justin (Brandy) Pugh and two great-grandkids, Savanah and Jordan Dean, several cousins and host of friends she called her "family."
