Obituary of Chance Thompson

Chance Thompson was born to Hershall and Lydia Thompson on February 5, 1934 and passed from this life July 16, 2013. He was married to Wilma Thompson until she passed away in 2005. Chance worked for ODOT in Tulsa. Most of the landscaping and trees on the IDL were planted by him. Chance was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Thompson, his parents, Hershall and Lydia Thompson, sisters, Genivia Cummins and Marie Ledford. He is survived by his children, April Maxville and Bryant Thompson, his brothers, John and Charlie Thompson, 6 grandchildren, Ebony Bruton, Shyla Hicks, Shalane Turner, Chris Maxville, Braden Thompson, Justice Thompson and 2 great-grandchildren, Matthew Loghry and Emma Pipin. Chance enjoyed landscaping and reading. He will be dearly missed.
