Obituary of BOBBY JONES

Bobby Ray Jones, resident of Glenpool, born in Hawthorne, California October 29, 1946, passed on January 13, 2012 at the age of 65. Bobby retired from Oklahoma Fixture Co. of Tulsa. He was taken to soon from a short illness. He will be missed dearly and he will remain in the hearts and minds of those who loved him. Bobby is survived by his son Billy Ray Jones of Cuero, Tx; daughter Nancy Sanders of Beggs; two grandchildren Cain Jones and Emily Jones of Cuero, Tx; numerous nieces and nephews with the closest being, Michelle Jones-Gutierez and Angela Jones of Okmulgee. Bobby also leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews as well as two brothers, William "Bill" F. Jones and wife, Ada of Okmulgee and Delbert Jones of Oklahoma City and one sister, Anna Mary Jones of Beggs. Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Melody Jones, his baby brother, his dad, Charles Jones and mom, Hester Jones. Bobby was a simple man, with a love for fishing with his two best friends, Ernie Marsh and Robert Apple. Bobby enjoyed carpentry, watching movies and his two dogs, Fi' Fi' and Shorty. You will be missed, Dad, Grandfather, and brother. May you rest in peace. Service will be 10:30 am Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. The family has requested guest to dress casual.
