Dempsey Ervin Lister was born in Kellyville, Ok on January 19, 1937 to Rena and Tolliver Lister and passed from this earth on October 6, 2013. He was one of 5 children. He married Arlene Fay King on July 23, 1955. They were married for 58 years and had two daughters, Karen and Brenda. He retired from McDonnell-Douglas after 29 years of service. He loved to fish and play guitar and was an amazing musician. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dempsey was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack Lister, sister, Wanda Voigt and Sister, Donna Dickens. He is survived by his wife, Fay and children, Karen Palmer and husband, Gene, Brenda Read and husband, Kevin; one sister Betty Magee and husband, Glen. He leaves his legacy to many grandchildren - David and Sara Diehl, Philip and Karen Diehl, Ben Kelley, Deanna Hayes, Laura and Adam Baker, Brad and Amber Kilmer and Nancy Felker. One of his biggest delights in his later years was his 16 great-grandchildren. He will be missed
