Norma Jean "Mamaw" Mikles passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 8th, 2013. Norma was born October 7, 1931 in Driggs, Arkansas. On April 21st, 1952, she married the love of her life, W.T. "Dub" Mikles and started their beautiful journey together. Norma was a devoted wife for over sixty years. They settled in Sapulpa, OK in 1963 where they raised their family. She delivered papers for several years, until babysitting her many grandchildren and great grandchildren took precedence. Norma especially loved going to their other home in Arkansas and spending time with the family on holidays. She was a true matriarch in the Mikles Family. Her spirit is carried on by her loving husband, Dub Mikles of Sapulpa; brother Curtis Storts and wife Rose Ellen of Magazine, AR; four children, John Mikles and wife Vicki of Sapulpa, Becky Keeling and Robert Cumbey of Kiefer, Roger Mikles and wife Claudia of Sapulpa, Jean Long and husband Eugene of Sapulpa; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Blanche Hayes, father, John Wallace Storts and great grandson, Gavinn Mikles.
