Leslie Stockton went to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2013. He was born on January 11, 1951 to Ollie and Homer Stockton in Hanford, California. They moved back to Oklahoma when he was 3 years old. Les loved raising chickens and fighting them. Before he got sick you could always find him in the yard feeding his chickens and roosters. He also liked watching scary movies and his dogs. Although you couldn't tell he liked to eat, his favorite foods were fried chicken and hamburgers. He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Homer Stockton and 2 brothers, Donald and Melvin Stockton. He is survived by his significant other and long time caregiver Janice Holden, of the home, and her son Eric; 3 children, daughters Angela Stockton; Melinda Stockton; and son Les Stockton Jr.; 8 grandchildren; brother Howard and Alta Stockton; sisters Goldenia and Jim White; Barbara Cox, all of Sapulpa; great nephew Boomer II; and a host of family and friends that will miss him greatly. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Michael Gregory and Reverend Matthew Stockton will be officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon with friends and family gathering from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The family has entrusted the services to the Funeral Directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. www.greenhillok.com
