Mary Katherine Bennett was born to H.R. Searcy and Alice Griffin Searcy on March 13, 1941 in Troop, Texas. She went to be with our Lord on February 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father H.R. Searcy; her mother Alice Searcy; her baby brother Carl Vincent; her sister Jane Hunt; and sister Joan Patrick. She is survived by her husband John of Sapulpa; son John Edward Bennett of Stillwater, OK; daughter Kathey and her husband Robert Porter of Sapulpa; sister Judy Stowers of Borger, TX; sister Betty and her husband Joel Herrelson of Kilgore, TX; 7 grandchildren, John Lynn Bennett; Jeremiah Bennett; Christopher Porter; Katia Bennett; Dustin Porter; Kayla Schellhorn; Melissa Hutson; and 8 great-grandchildren, Camree Bennett; Mallory Porter; Riley Porter; Brady Dillard; Lexi Hutson; Lauren Porter; Jackson Porter; and Lola Porter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was a wonderful, kind woman loved by everyone that knew her. Mary married the love of her life John (J.C.) Bennett on August 31, 1957. She was a favorite "Grandma," "Mamma," sister, cousin and Aunt. She enjoyed traveling, camping and most of all family gatherings. She will be loved forever and greatly missed.
