Stanley Dee Martino was born to Clyde and Margaret Martino on Feb. 23, 1952. He graduated from Jay High School in 1970 and Connors State College in 1972, where he met his wife of 41 years, Renee Osborn. Stan passed away on March 6, 2014 and is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Margaret Martino; his brother, Steven Martino, who died in Vietnam; sisters, Jean Thompson and Clydella Martino; nephews, Rick Phillips and Denny Busha; and niece, Julia Brooke Osborn. He is survived by his wife, Renee Martino; son, Justin Martino; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Matt Hathaway; grandchildren, Evan and Libby Hathaway; sister and brother-in-law, Retha and Joe Benefield; brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Janice Martino; and nephew Doug Thompson, who was like a little brother to him, and his wife, Phyllis. He is also survived by his in-laws Louise Osborn, Gayle and Dennis Busha, Mike and Dianna Osborn and Ron and Jana Osborn and by countless other family members and friends. Stan worked in construction of swimming pools for 27 years. He was with Paragon Industries in security for the past 13 years. However, he considered his most important job to be driving the golf cart at the golf tournament held annually for his niece Julia Brooke Osborn's scholarship fund that is given annually to a Sapulpa High School student. Stan loved being a Pa and bragging on his grandchildren. He spent hours gardening with Evan and teasing Libby. Stan enjoyed hunting, fishing, firing up his smoker and being with family and friends for a barbecue or fish fry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Julia Brooke Osborn Visual Arts Scholarship c/o Sapulpa Arts, 101 E. Dewey, Sapulpa, OK 74066 and the Sapulpa Chapter of Relay for Life, 4110 S. 100th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74146.
