Obituary of LUCILLE LIERLY

Please share a memory of LUCILLE to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lucille Lierly was born January 3, 1930 to Lawrence and Grace Brown in Collinsville, Oklahoma and had a Grand Reunion with the love of her life, Ralph Hosey, on May 9, 2014. They were married on May 10, 1947 and joined hands once again the day before their 67th wedding anniversary. She was a full time homemaker, world's greatest mom and grandma, and was totally devoted to the care of her husband Ralph as he was a decorated Disabled American Veteran. She loved singing with her family, reading the Word of God daily and leading lost souls to the Lord. She was an excellent cook and loved to make family and friends welcome with a fresh homemade pie at a moment's notice. She looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and listening to and singing with the Gaither Vocal Band. She and Ralph traveled all over the United States visiting family from California to Connecticut. For over 40 years, there were many trips in the family car and camping at the lake. After retirement, they would spend winter months in a travel trailer in McAllen, Texas, making numerous lifelong friends along the way. Lucille is survived by 5 Brothers: Ernest, Delbert, Ralph, Bob, and Carl; 3 Sisters: Margaret, Ruth, and Helen; 2 Daughters: Linda and Sheri; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Grace; husband Ralph; two daughters, Donna and Karen; one son, Gary; one granddaughter, Debbie; and one great-granddaughter, Amy. We know you are so happy to be with our Heavenly Father and surrounded by your mom and dad, husband, Donna, Gary and Karen. We will always love you. Bye for now 'til we see you again.
