i too was saddened by the loss of LANA,i only knew her for a brief period of time(4 years at CHEATHAM ANNEX)...but...she had a smile that could light up a room,..& just seemed to be soooo full of life & energy.personality,...was sooo amazing,sarchasm...EXTREME...lol..& that laugh,..ohhh boy,..even from a distance,..you knew it was a good conversation.she was nice,sociable,friendly,..but...when it was time for the work to be done & meals to be served...she was right on it,...with precision...:-).some would say that she "ruled with an iron fist",..BUT,..everything was as it needed to be...and i admired that.even some of the guys(military) "QUIVERED" abit when she was around...thinkin..."uhhh,..don't get her mad"...lol.she was a blessing to me,because she praised me about my sign language(getting teary eyed right now...:-(...) there was a few times,...lol...she was like,..."can you come back here"(and she was laughing abit...)i was like,..sure,what's up?..she was like..."can you translate something for me,my sign language is abit rusty"...lol..made me feel good.she was just someone who was so fun to be around,...my heart goes out to her family & friends....sadness & sorrow for your loss...GOD REST HER SOUL,..& so happy she is no longer in pain & suffering.she is dearly missed.i know & have faith she sees all this & hears all your prayers...& she'll always be watching over all of you.god bless.
