Obituary of DIXIE MITCHON

Dixie A. Mitchon was born April 4, 1934 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma to Frank E. Patton and Etta May Rose. She passed away February 1, 2012 at 11:27 am with her daughter, son-in-law and pastor by her side. She is survived by her children, Diane McCarty, Sharon McMilin and Duane Barnes and their spouses, and a host of family and friends and 11 grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as "Granny Goose," 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her mother, Etta Mae Rose; father, Frank E. Patton; all of her brothers, Joe Patton, Gene Patton and John Patton; and sister, Hazel Burke. Her family is proud to announce that she is resting safely in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
