Obituary of CAROLYN Mattison HENRY

Carolyn was born in Tulara, California on June 7, 1941. As a young girl her family moved to Oklahoma before settling in West Tulsa. She was the middle child so she was always protected by big sister Norma and she returned the favor by being protector of little brother Skip. She graduated from Daniel Webster in 1959. She married Tommy Mattison in 1958 and together they raised their children Keith & Kimberly. The Mattison family was very busy in various activities with their children and friends. Many weekends were spent wrestling, cheering, camping and always the family vacations. Carolyn was a working mom and upon her retirement she traveled, shopped a lot and spent good times with her grandchildren taking them on vacation every summer. She enjoyed spending time with them, riding 4 wheelers, fishing, playing in the pool and the many sleepovers. Spending time at the casino, learning to maneuver facebook and relaxing at Lake Tenkiller were some of the things she enjoyed in recent years. Her great grandchildren always put a smile on her face. She was very proud of her family. Carolyn had many extended family members with beautiful memories and she loved them all. Carolyn fought a good battle these past 4 years and died at her home in West Tulsa. Her family and friends will miss her but nothing can erase all the memories. Carolyn was survived by: the Father of her children, Tommy Mattison; Son, Keith Mattison and wife Shawna, Daughter, Kim Mattison; Grandchildren: Ramsey Mattison and wife Christy, Chase Mattison, Lacey Mattison, Lindsey Tolentino and husband Daniel and Kamber Horton; Great Grandchildren: Amelia Tolentino, Alex and Dominique Martinez, and Brantley Shawn Mattison; Brother Richard (Skip) Hill and wife Kay, Nieces, Robyn Condreay & Erin Thompson, Nephew, Steve Partin. She was preceded in death by her parents: Victor Jackson, Bill & Polly Hill; her Sister, Norma Partin Barber and her niece Lori Partin.
