Howard Dean Capehart was born January 19, 1929 at Vinita, Oklahoma to Cicero Dean Capehart and Myrtle Oma Clemmons Capehart. He passed away February 9, 2012 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Howard was the oldest child and only son of six children. He worked most of his life as a framing carpenter. Howard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Jefferson and Belle Brown Capehart and George and Maudie Clemmons; his parents Cicero Dean and Myrtle Oma Clemmons Capehart and all of his aunts and uncles. Howard is survived by his children: Roger Dean Capehart and Billie Jean, Larry Joe Capehart and Brenda, and Tommy Lee Capehart all of Kiefer, Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Bryon Scott Capehart , Steven Allen Capehart, Chase Lane Capehart , Sandan Lee Capehart , and Trey Lloyd Capehart; his great grandchildren: Dylan Capehart , Spencer Capehart, Brock Capehart, Bailey Capehart, Caylen Capehart and Carly Capehart; his siblings, Doris Kirlin, Bill And Francis Melton, John and Lettie Upchurch, Otto and Maudie Goins, Doug and Sue Haney.
