Obituary of Sarah Paad

Please share a memory of Sarah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
In an attempt to accurately depict Sarah's passing, we must report that she bailed on us. She is on a heavenly mission to make sure she has our place prepared before us. Mom took that verse literally and is now in Heaven bossing someone around to get it done. She filled this role with determination and has proven that faith will move mountains. She moved right on into heaven. She beat the cancer her way. Sarah Jane Hart Paad shared her life for 65 years and is celebrating her entrance to heaven today. She was born July 15, 1949 in Augusta, Georgia to Marjorie Jane and Daniel Fenner Hart. Her death on August 9, 2014 follows a yearlong attempt to beat cancer. She had Cyber Knife treatment for lung cancer, surgical treatment for colon cancer, laser treatment for bladder cancer and a regrowth of the lung tumor. She ended her fight with 14 days left of radiation treatment while undergoing simultaneous chemotherapy and radiation therapy. She joked that she had almost as many primary tumors as she did children. Sarah joins her parents, her brother Pat Hart, and her granddaughter Alexis Michelle Gudith with our Lord and Savior. As Sarah passes, we celebrate the newest grandson, Patrick Julius Paad, son of Harry Julius II born on August 2, 2014. Sarah leaves behind Robert Carlton Paad, her husband of 37 years as well as her children, Dawn Frank, Florance Johnson, Sally and John Gudith, and Harry Julius II and Maura Paad, stepsons Lawrence and Annette Paad and Wayne and Jeri Cowgill, grandchildren Lawrence Jr., Ryan, Amanda, Amy, Ash-Lynn, Lindsey, Codey, Chelsea, Jonathan, Logan, and Patrick as well as several great grandchildren. In addition Sarah is survived by her brothers Fred and Judy Hart and Russell and Birdie Hart as well as many sister and brother in-laws, nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Mollie, Maggie, Tiffany, Billie and Bobby. Sarah was an active Registered Nurse until this year. She thrived in and very much loved her work. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, social media, and canning. There are no services; however, those desiring to honor her may donate to any cancer charity or through the Cancer Sucks organization at the following link http://www.cancersucks.com/donations/.
