Mike and I were close friends in High School and I spent a lot of time at his house and he at mine. There was never a more loyal friend and he ALWAYS had my back which was needed way to often. As is most often the case life takes us in different directions from our friends after graduation. We did stay in touch so I know the last several months were difficult for him. Although I wouldn't wish another moment of suffering for Mike, my heart aches for one more call so I could express to him how much his friendship meant to me.
I'm gonna miss you Bubba.
