Helen Jewel Wilson Ezzell, of Sapulpa, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the age of 82. She was born on December 24, 1925 in Sapulpa to Jimmy and Hannah Wilson. Mrs. Ezzell was an excellent cook who owned several restaurants in Sapulpa. Mrs. Ezzell was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Helen loved to visit and was known for her wonderful hospitality. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Ezzell is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clarence Ezzell; her parents Jimmy and Hannah Wilson; brother, Howard Wilson and sister, Dorothy Goad. She is survived by; daughters, Sherry Smith and husband Joe of Sapulpa, Sandra Hanson and husband Pete of Marlow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jeni Newport and husband Dustin of Sapulpa, Mike Hanson and wife Angie of Nashville, Arkansas, Terri Moore and husband Marc of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Malone of Denver, Colorado, Viola Bettencourt of Hanford, California; brother, Jack Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a sister-in-law, June Wilson.
