Willie Ray Thomas, age 81, left this life on October 1, 2008. He was born October 12, 1926 in Anson, Texas to Tommy and Josie May Thomas. He was married to his loving wife, Flossie Colleen for 62 years. Willie was retired from the City of Sapulpa where he had been employed as a street sweeper for thirty years.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie; his four children, Gary and Elizabeth, Kay and Terry, Debbie, Kimmy; 18 grandchildred; 44 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends. Willie had enough love for each and every one. He enjoyed playing guitar, going to church and making cat and dog sounds to make the kids think there was one close by. He will be missed by each and every one of us dearly. Willie will always be in our hearts and never be forgotten.
