Darrel Eugene Hardy, 66, of Sapulpa, passed away December 19, 2008 at his home. He was born May 15, 1942 in Sapulpa and had been a resident of the area all his life. His father was Earl Hardy and his mother was Olive Hardy of Sapulpa.
Darrel was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force from October 1960 to February 1968. He was a sergeant stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. He was a radio mechanic. He received an Honorable discharge and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, the Defense Service Medal and the Longevity Service Award. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Darrel was a wonderful husband and an awesome father and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors are his spouse, Evangelina Hardy; sons, Joe Constancio of Waxahachie, Texas, Darin Hardy and his wife, Valerie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Rosa Davis and her husband, Tony of Elgin, Texas, Evangelina Kellogg and her husband, Jamie of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Toni Constancio of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Albert Hardy of Thomason, Georgia; grandchildren, Shawn Rose, Alex, Justin and Alicia Constancio, Austin Brown, Cody and Taylor Hardy, Joseph, Jessica and Janelle Davis, Emilia and Christine Kellogg. Darrel is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Olive Hardy of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; daughter, Maria Constancio of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; brother, John Hardy of McKinney, Texas.

Monday, December 22, 2008 will be a wake service at Green Hill Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
