Obituary of Rodger Dale Canady

Please share a memory of Rodger to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Rodger Dale Canady was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma March 5, 1953 to George Canady and Mildred (Wolfe).  He passed away April 23, 2018 at the age of 65.

Rodger had a great sense of humor and was a very ornery man.  He was a jokester and loved playing pranks on family and friends.  He was happy and always had a smile on his face.  Throughout his illness he maintained his smile and his positive attitude.

He was very artistic and had the most beautiful penmanship.  By trade he was an electrician. He enjoyed collecting old coins, watching westerns, MMA and cop shows.  He also enjoyed playing games on the computer.  He was very family oriented and his favorite way to spend his time was with his grandchildren.

Rodger was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Canady.  He is survived by wife Karen Canady; children Benjalie, Chad Canady & (Abby) and Shawn Canady & (Rosie); siblings Joe Canady and Karen Canady Evans; grandchildren Elizabeth Canady, Andrea Canady, Jordan Canady, Jayden Canady, Tyler Canady, Nolan Johnson and Lily Johnson; as well as many more family and friends.  His family will miss pranks, wonderful smile and positive attitude during his many trials.  They will always cherish their memories of time spent together.
