Obituary of Willard Horton
Please share a memory of Willard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sonny entered this life in Dallas, Texas on July 22, 1936. He traveled much in his younger life while working construction. He lived this life for this life, he took whatever this life offered. His life changed in 1973. He realized, as the theif on the cross, that he was the one worthy of death. He recognized Jesus as the Son of God, who came to take away the sins of the world. He called upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He wanted others to come to know his Savior and he so loved the work of the Lord. Sonny is preceded in death by his brother; Eddie Horton; his mother and father; Mary Elizabeth Talley and Vernon Lee Horton. He leaves many wonderful memories with his family he loved so much: wife of 50 years, Dorothy Horton; sons; Michael and Frank Horton; daughters; Cheryl Mcfall, Deborah Connely and Mary Maloney; sister; Sue Lawhon; brother; Jerry Horton; grandchildren; Elizabeth, Andy, Danielle, Casey, Cody, Nichole, Adam, Alicia, Caitlyn, Hunter, Dominic, Donivin, Clayton and Maylee; great-grandchildren; Ella and Skylar.
