Obituary of Darryl Steven Tyler

Darryl Steven Tyler entered eternal slumber on the evening of June 7, 2018. Darryl was born on December 23, 1983 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Gerald and Mary Tyler. Darryl attended primary school in Colorado. In 1995, the Tyler family moved to Owasso, Oklahoma where Darryl and his brother Kevin completed school. Darryl was an avid member of FFA, raising and showing Hampshire pigs with the Owasso FFA chapter. Darryl graduated from Owasso High school in May 2002, then attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX for Diesel Mechanics. Upon completion of his training in 2004, Darryl worked as a diesel mechanic, in Oklahoma and New York, most recently for Owasso Public Schools transportation. While working for OPS, Darryl met his wife, Hayley, and the two were married on November 28, 2015.  

Darryl is preceded in death by his grandfathers and maternal grandmother.

Darryl leaves behind parents, Mary and Gerald of Lee Center, New York; Loving wife Hayley Tyler and stepson Max of Claremore, Oklahoma; Brother Kevin & his wife Katie Tyler along with his nephew & niece, Robert and Allie; Grandmother Helen Tyler along with numerous friends and extended family.
