Obituary of Roger Eugene Roberson

On June 26, 1972 a baby boy was born to Roger Runnels and Cynthia Joe Roberson in Sapulpa Oklahoma. They named him Roger Eugene Roberson, AKA “Butter.”

He was raised after his mother’s unexpected death by Florence and Floyd Roberson, whom raised him to be an amazing man and they loved him as their own.

He departed this life June 10th, 2018. He became a member of the church of God in Beggs at an early age.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, son Jace Allen Roberson, brother Derrick Runnels, brother Jackie Roberson and numerous other family members.

Butter leaves to cherish his memories: Crystal Meza, son Anthony Roberson, sisters Angela Edwards and husband Steven Edwards, Shirley Roberson, Lanzetta Smith and husband Mr. Right, Loretta Roberson, Delicia and Demicia Runnels, Anita Wooten, Ether Runnels, brothers David Runnels, Floyd Roberson, Jr., Mark Roberson, Joe Roberson and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts as well as many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jun 15 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jun 14 from 1:00 to 8:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home, Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa

Roger's Interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery 231st South, Mounds.
