Obituary of Gary Allen Lindsay

Gary Lindsay went to be with the Lord July 25, 2018 at the age of 47.  He was born to James and Alice Lindsay on September 20, 1970 in Woodier, California.

Gary married Billie Munn and the couple was blessed with a large family including 8 children.  He worked as the Cemetery Grounds Supervisor at Green Hill Memorial Gardens until a back injury led to an early retirement.  He was one of the most generous people you could ever meet.  He had a wonderful, warm smile that always gave you a feeling of welcome.  He had the best and most unique sense of humor and would do everything in his power to make others happy and to see them smile.  He was a great listener and he could always be counted on to be there when you needed him.  He loved listening to music and counted himself as part of the “Raider Nation.” 

Gary had more love than anyone could imagine.  He was a loving husband and father.  He would do anything for his children.  Gary was deeply loved by family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.  His family will honor his memory and try to continue the loving legacy he leaves behind.

Gary is survived by his wife Billie “Danielle” Lindsay; 4 sons, Camren A. Lindsay (23), Evan P. Lindsay (20), Matthew D. Lindsay (17) and Mas R. Marcus (16); daughters, Rebecca L. Tilley (20), Chelsea B. Marcus (15), Hannah I. Lindsay (10) and Sarah A. Davis (23); grandchildren, Sherrie Davis (3) and Leroy Davis (1); mother Alice Lindsay of California; sister Debbie Law and husband Travis of California; brother Steven Lindsay of California; brother Ron Lindsay of Sapulpa, OK; Ray Lindsay and his wife Patti of Texas; 2 nieces, Erin Lindsay of Texas and Megan Lindsay of California; 2 nephews, Ryan Lindsay of Texas and Shawn Law of California.  He was preceded in death by his father James. E. Lindsay of California; sister Pamala Lindsay of California; and his baby daughter Grace Lindsay.

A Memorial Service is scheduled at 2:00 pm Thursday at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.  The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Services, Inc.  918-224-2312
