Obituary of Wilburn Butler

Wilburn Eugene Butler, age 55, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009.  He was born on Monday, November 16, 1953 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  Eugene was son of Wilburn and Betty Butler, and raised by Joe Winters.  He is survived by his wife Linda, his children Joseph, Jennifer, Jeff, Ben and Keely.  Grandchildren Dakota, Makenzie, Skylar, Baylee, Bryce, Brandon, Laney, Carleigh, and Evie.   Eugene loved fishing, animals, poking jokes at every chance he got, driving his truck, friends, but most of all, his family.  He was a kind and gentle man, who was loved by many.  He had a certain charm about him-to know him was to love him.  Eugene enjoyed giving people a hard time and making them laugh and this is how Eugene would want to be remembered.  You know Eugene is looking down on all of us here gathered here today and he would want us to rejoice and celebrate his life.  He was a simple man and would do anything in the world for anyone.  He was a self-less, giving, caring man.  Mr. Eugene Butler will be missed!  We love you!!!!!   Service: 3:00 Monday March 9, 2009, Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel
