Virginia Lea Dodson was born May 18, 1925 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to William Edgar McBride and Lenora Faye Newcombe.&nbsp; Ginger was married to Billy Carlson Mitts for 23 years and from this union was born four daughters, Billie Lea, Shirley Ann, Nancy Faye and Leona Sue.&nbsp; Ginger then married James U. Dodson who passed away in November 1997. She is Also Preceded in death by her mother and father and sisters, Nancy, Lillian, Betsy and a brother, Walt. Ginger is survived by four daughters, Billie (Garry) Briggs, Shirley (Larry) Graham, Nancy Rosson, and Sue Hoover; a brother, Jack McBride; sisters, Margaret Dunbar, Frances Mitts, Lucy Smith, and Barbara Brown.&nbsp; She is also survived by ten grandchildren; Christy Gantz, Billy Million (Tiffany), Allen Million, Cindy Wood (Scott), Cathy Clawson (Paul), Jeff and Jimmy Ledford, Zachary Hoover, Jimmy and Natalie Briggs; great grandkids, Carmen Hoover, Camryn and Hayden Million, Corey and Madison Jones, Levi Briggs, Jeremiah and Alex Gantz, Kyle Million, Stephani and Eric Cole, Kassie and Halee Ledford, Brandon and Adam Wood, Kirsten and Jacob Ledford, Jason and Nathan Clawson and numerous nephews and nieces. Ginger was a master quilter and crocheter.&nbsp; She loved to garden and could grow anything.&nbsp; She was also an avid bowler and fisherwoman.&nbsp; She loved to catfish at Fort Gibson Lake.&nbsp; Her holiday dinners were famous and her egg noodles were unmatched by anyone.&nbsp; She loved Christmas best of all with all her children and grandkids around her. She also loved to travel to yellow stone and the Royal Gorge; she went up Pikes Peak and made many trips to Arkansas and Missouri.&nbsp; She traveled in fall to enjoy the changing leaves.&nbsp; She traveled to Texas to fish in the Gulf.&nbsp; But her biggest love was the baseball team of the St. Louis Cardinals.&nbsp; She rarely missed a game that was on T.V. or the radio.
