Obituary of Betty Ann Bowers
Betty Ann Dougherty was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on October 22, 1930 to parents Arthur and Willa Dougherty. She passed from this life on September 11, 2018 in Arbor Village Nursing Home. Betty was 87 years old.
Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years Rubin Bowers of the home; two sons- Kevin Bowers and wife Jeanie of Kiefer, OK, Denny Bowers of Sapulpa, OK; one stepson Rex Bowers and wife Vicki of Mounds, OK; six grandkids, Lisa Turner of Tulsa, OK, Vanessa Bowers of Sapulpa, OK, Jamie Windeler and husband Britt of Norman, OK, John Bowers and wife Mary of Kansas, Kyle Bowers of Sand Springs, OK, Kelby Bowers and wife Cassie of Kiefer, OK; and12 great-grandkids, Madison Turner, Megan Turner, Carter Wells, Everett Windeler, Vincent Bowers, Ashton Bowers, Trenton Bowers, Breydn Bowers, Kayden Bowers, Serenity Bowers, Kelby Bowers Jr. and Kevin Bowers Jr.
Her parents Willa and Arthur Dougherty, as well as many of her beloved animals preceded Betty in death

Funeral Services will be on Monday September 17th, 2018 at 11:00 at Faith Baptist Church in Slick, OK with Derek Carney officiating and casket bearers are Kyle Bowers, Kelby Bowers, Paul York, Raymond Campbell, Randy Woods and Harold Dunn. Graveside service to follow in Bixby, OK at Bixby Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday September 16th, 2018 from 1PM-8PM at Greenhill Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK.
