Karen Kay "Boaz Collums passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home after a valiant battle with cancer. Karen was 58 years of age. She was born on August 26, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to George and Hazel Boaz. Karen was an office manager employed by Animal Care Central where she worked for 20 years until her illness forced her into an early retirement. Karen was faithful to God and was a longtime member of Pickett Prairie Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father George Boaz.Left to remember Karen are her surviving family members, her mother, Hazel Boaz; a brother, Leon Boaz and Erin; a sister, Georgene Witham and L.E. all of Sapulpa. Karen is also survived by her nieces, Kim, Christal, Heather, Carol, Brandi and Marion; twelve great nephews and nieces and 2 great great nephews. She will also leave behind a host of friends and other family.
