Obituary of Michael Raymond Lewis

Michael Raymond Lewis was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on June 15, 1965 to Alfred Lewis and Mary (Mosquito) Lewis.  He passed away on October 26, 2018.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents and a niece, Shamicah Wilson.  He is survived by his parents Alfred and Mary Lewis; his sisters Janiece Gibson, Donna Jones, Debbie Jones, Grace Jones, Paula Lewis and Rhonda Guitarez; his brothers James Mosquito, Paul Lewis and John Lewis; and a host of nephews, nieces and his cat Baby.

Michael was God’s special son and a firm believer in Jesus Christ.  He loved his family and was very proud of his Indian heritage.  He loved the sound of the Pow Wow drum.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing.  He was also a tremendous swimmer and very accomplished in the physics of summer saults of the diving board.  He was one of the fastest roller skaters in his age bracket, winning many races.  Michael is deeply loved and will be missed by many.

Funeral Services are scheduled at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Morning Star Evangelistic Center in Hectorville with burial in Fox Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-8 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home.  400 E. Teel Rd.  918-224-2312
