Obituary of Robert Eugene Sanders

Robert Eugene Sanders was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma July 15, 1937 to Nellie Ann Miller. He passed from this life on October 31 ,2018 from complications of a lengthy illness. Robert has been a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness for all of his life. Robert loved to hunt, fish, plant a big garden. He grew the best tomatoes you would have ever eaten. He loved to can and share his harvest with friends and family. Most of all he loved to make his Possum grape jelly. Robert was a carpenter by trade.

Robert married Lorena Jean Smith January 30, 1957. They had three sons who he is survived by; Randy Wayne Sanders and wife Carol of Mannford, OK, Marty Eugene Sanders and wife Denise of Sapulpa, OK, Kenneth Ray Sanders and wife Jenny of Kellyville, OK. His grandchildren are Randa Sanders, Kenneth Ray Sanders, Natasha Randol, Sara Beard, Cassie Waybourn, Derek Waybourn and a host of great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by two sisters; Barbara Anderson of Sand Springs, OK and Mary Ann Pischel of Skiatook, OK.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Lorena Jean Sanders and grand-daughter Randa Wilena Sanders.

A Memorial Service is scheduled at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Cleveland, Oklahoma.  The family has entrusted services to Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa.  918-224-2312 / www.greenhillok.com
