Obituary of Theresa Diane Brumley

Theresa “Diane” Brumley was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi on November 12, 21948 to parents Halbert and Gladys Channell.  She passed away October 30, 2018 at the age of 69.

Diane met the love of her life, Kenneth Brumley, Sr. while he was working as an attendant at Majors Service Station in Sapulpa.  The couple was married December 23, 1967 and shared nearly 51 years together.  Their family was completed with their 2 children; Misty and Kenny.

Diane worked for Frankoma pottery for 11 years and went to beauty college, Spending more than 20 years as a hairdresser.  She enjoyed her time with her customers as well as the ladies she worked with over the years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and spent many Saturday nights at family get togethers at her parent’s home playing cards and dominoes.  When she was younger she enjoyed riding motorcycles.  She even had her own at one time.  She loved fishing and would stay out all night, wearing everyone out, watching her lighted night float.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Kenneth Brumley, Sr.; daughter Misty Brumley; son Kenny Brumley; granddaughter Shelbie Young; sister Elaine Gladd; brother Hal Channell; nephews Jeffrey Gladd and Justin Gladd and wife Beth; niece Lesley Channell; 2 great- nephews along with many other family and friends.

A Memorial Service is scheduled at 2 pm on Friday November 2, 2018 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.  The family has entrusted services to Green Hill Funeral Home. 400 E. Teel Rd. Sapulpa 918-224-2312 / www.greenhillok.com
