Susan Len Pigg Spires died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at home in Mounds, OK after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 16, 1954 in Grapevine Texas, to Orville Pigg and Dorothea Pumroy Pigg. She grew up in Bristow, OK and graduated from Bristow High School in 1972. She worked as a graphic artist for a local graphics company. She loved gardening and her dogs.
She is survived by husband Jerry Spires of Mounds, two sisters, Debra Skaggs of Tonganoxie KS and Sandra Banks of Tulsa OK, four nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved dog Blondie. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Friday April 3rd at Green Hill Chapel in Sapulpa OK.
