Obituary of Nancy Ellen Lance

Nancy was Fully alert, active, and affiliated with the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.  She attended her final service at the home of John R. and Nancy K. Badgwell on October 18, 2018.  Nancy Ellen Lance was taken from that service to the Home of John L and Rhonda F Cook Where she passed  at 12:30  p.m.  On Monday, November 5, 2018 surrounded by loved ones and family members.

 

Nancy Ellen Lance was born January 13, 1932, in Alpena Pass, Arkansas to Grover Cleveland (Cleve) Love and Beulah Artie Love (White).  Nancy was a member of the original First Apostolic Church of Tulsa where a foundation of truth was instilled in the minds of her husband and their children. 

 

Nancy married Thomas William Lance November 22, 1947 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  Survivors include five children:

 

Nancy K. Badgwell and husband John R. Badgwell of Sapulpa; two children, John. R Badgwell Jr., and Teddy Wayne Badgwell.

 

Rhonda F. Cook and husband John L. Cook of Sapulpa; two Children, John L. Cook II and Janae Lachelle Cook/Denby.

 

Rose A. McClary and husband Carl M. McClary of Seneca, Missouri; three children, Jamie D. Lance, Amanda Rae Derrick/Hauenstein, and Matthew R. Derrick [ step son, son, and daughter of the late Donald R. Derrick].

 

Wiladean Boone and deceased husband James C. Boone of Sapulpa; two children, James C Boone Jr. and Joshua L. Boone [sons of the late James C. Boone].

William H. Lance and wife Janell E. Lance of Sapulpa; two children, Ryan D. Lance and Darren R. Lance.

 

31 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, One sister [Joann Obermier] and numerous nephews and nieces.

 

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Lance; her son, Thomas Raymond Lance; her great grandson, Justin Wayne Badgwell; her great great grandson Justin Denton Ellis; as well as her sisters Wanda M. Barlow, and Roma L. Baria.

 

Funeral Services are scheduled at 11 am on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Lexington Road Church (811 Lexington Rd, Sapulpa, OK 74066) with burial in South Heights Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5-8 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home.  The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Home.  400 E.
