Obituary of Sandra Elaine Carter

Sandra Elaine Carter was born on February 4, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents John and Juanita Walker.

Sandra’s life revolved around the Lord and she read her bible daily. She also enjoyed many fun activities such as gardening, fishing, and playing with her beloved dog Leroy. Sandra married the love of her life, Wayne Neal Carter, on July 20, 1970 and the couple spent 46 happy years together. Some of Sandra’s most cherished memories were those of her and Wayne when they would wake up early and drink coffee together and after coffee, she would complete her everyday routine of cleaning the house. Wayne left this world on November 25, 2016 and Sandra joined him in Heaven with the Lord on January 20, 2019. Sandra will forever be remembered as one who’s smile would light up any room she walked into and having a laugh that was contagious to everyone around her.

She and Wayne had a daughter together, Jentry Danielle Carter, born on August 12, 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Sandra was known as “nana” to her grandkids, Peyton Daxton and Pyerston Storz, whom she loved very much. Family was important to her and she loved her brother Louie and sister Marsha.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents John and Juanita Walker, her beloved husband Wayne Carter, her sister Anita Marie Curtis as well as nieces and nephews.  She leaves behind daughter Jentry Carter, grandchildren Peyton Daxton and Pyerston Storz, brother Louie Walker and his wife Rhonda and their children John and Jordan, and sister Marsha.

Visitation - Thursday January 24, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.

Graveside Service - Friday January 25, at 2:00pm Weddington Cemetery at Weddington Arkansas.
