Obituary of Bonnie Jean Palmer
Bonnie Jean Palmer was born August 9, 1936 in Cromwell, Oklahoma. She passed away February 13, 2019 at that age of 82.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Amos and Nova Wakefield; three brothers, Earnest Wakefield, Raymond Arthur Wakefield and J.W. Wakefield; and her sister Helen Ervin. She is survived by 3 daughters, Cynthia Lee Cromley, Bonita Sue Shaw and Sheri Lynn Randall; one son Billy Kevin Palmer; sister Wanda Maples; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bonnie graduated from Excelsior High School in Claremore, Oklahoma in 1954. She married and lived in Eufaula for 35 years. Bonnie retired in 1989 from the Oklahoma State Department of Human Services in Eufaula with over 24 years of service. She later moved to Moore, Oklahoma and went to work with the Oklahoma State Health Department in Cleveland County and retired in 1998. She worked part-time for Wal-Mart Supercenter in Moore. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling, reading and was a big OU football fan.
Funeral Services are scheduled at 2 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 4-8 at Green Hill.
