I want to say that I loved my Aunt Norma Jean so very much. She was like a second mom to me and she loved me and taught me so much and I am so very thankful and grateful for her.
She loved Jesus so very much and was always encouraging others to love HIM. She was a very great cook and always made some awesome food you never left her home hungry. She made the very best fried okra and I loved hers the best. Everything she made tasted so good!!!
Her and uncle Charles let me stay with them two summers in a row and we went to Oklahoma. The years were 1966 and 1967. Those were some of the best years of my teenage life spending it with them and their daughter Barbara My Cousin.
I am going to miss you so much Aunt Norma Jean but I have the Blessed hope of seeing you again someday in Heaven.
Give JESUS, my Mom, Dad, my Brother James and ALL of our Loved Ones a Big Hug for me.
I Love You Soooooooo Much Aunt Norma Jean and I will never ever forget you.
Sending Prayers for Eddie, Barbara, Deby and all of their Families.
Lots of Love from your niece

I was blessed to have Aunt Norma Jean in my life.
Quite simply she was an inspiration to me and my family on so many levels. She quietly led by example with love, grace, and dedication to the Lord, my Uncle Charles, her children, and her LARGE extended family and friends.
I remember my Mom teaching me to cook as a young man and I commented that I’m sure glad Grandma taught her how to cook so well. My Mom stopped, looked at me and said she didn’t know how to cook until after she got married and Aunt Norma Jean taught her how to cook. In turn I have passed those life skills on to my wife and our two sons.
Aunt Norma Jean never had a bad thing to say about anybody and was always there with a smile for all!
Like my Dad used to say..... I was her favorite nephew!!! Not because she said so (she never said that lol) but because she made me feel that way.
There must be a big celebration in Heaven now and they are all running around barefoot like a bunch of country kids, but now they are barefoot on streets of gold.
Farewell Aunt Norma Jean, you had a life well lived, we will see you there soon.
May God Bless you Eddie and Nancy, Barbara and Jack, and Deby and Nate, and all the rest of the family.
Love you all!
God Bless. I wish I could be there today.
Jim

To my dear sweet Aunt Norma Jean, I will miss all the times and memories we’ve made. You were always there to listen and guide my path. We laughed cried hugged maybe even drove you crazy at times, if so you never showed it you we’re there for me. Never to busy you put all of us first before your own life, always doing for others. I cherish my middle name because I have yours. My mother cherished you like a sister. You certainly have gained your entrance into Heaven and we’re greeted with the open arms of Jesus. You will be be so missed, no one can ever take the memories you have written in my heart. I love you Beverly Jean
