I would like to convey my deepest sympathies to the Peeples family and apologize for my inability to be there for you during your time of loss and grief. My Aunt Bonnie was one of the sweetest souls and nicest people I have ever known. You were extremely lucky to have had such a wonderful person as a mom. Now, I do recall that she may have been a little hard on referees at football games with her harsh name calling. The dreaded insult of “Turkey Butt” would echo across the field. But that didn’t change the amazing woman that was your mother. It only added to her character. You all were my first best friends and have been some of my most loyal friends throughout my entire life. I know that you are who you are because of the job Aunt Bonnie did raising you. She will always have a special place in our hearts and will always be remembered. Love you all. Tom.

Bonnie was my great great aunt. I spent most Monday evenings of my childhood with her and she was always full of life. When I think of Bonnie, I think of how proud she was of her grandchildren and that laugh! I’ll never forget that laugh.
Sadly, I cannot make it to the service today, but I am sending lots of love to all my extended family. Her sister, Sylvia, passed away many years ago, but I still think of her daily. So I know Bonnie will stay alive in all the memories of her loved ones forever.

I first met Bonnie when I started working in Glenpool. A year ago I was given the opportunity to preach a few Sundays at First Baptist Kiefer. The Sundays I was invited to preach Bonnie was at the church in the same pew and she always had a smile on her face. I did not know her well but she was always so warm and friendly when I was around her.
