Obituary of Saundra Lea Edwards

Saundra Lea Edwards was born July 9, 1943 in Houston, TX to Emmit Knapp and Vivian Mead. She left this life at St. Francis Hospital and entered into her eternal life in Heaven May 20, 2019 at the age of 75.

In this life, Saundra was blessed with four children; Bobby, James, Arthur, and Judy.  She was a welder for several years until retirement.  She was an active member of True Baptist Church until her health declined and she was unable to make it to services.

Saundra lived this life with a passion for family and the word of God.  She was a God-Fearing woman who never knew a stranger.  She loved spending time with family and friends.  When she wasn’t busy with family, she devoted much of her time to assisting the church however she was able.

She is survived by her three sons Bobby, James, Arthur, her daughter Judy.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She touched the lives of many and will be missed by all, but her legacy of faith, family and love will go on forever. 

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at True Baptist Church 410 Terrace Drive, Sand Springs

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home Sapulpa 400 E. Teel Rd., Sapulpa
