Obituary of Mellissa Leigh Long

Mellissa Leigh Long was born May 12, 1973.  She passed from this life on June 20, 2019. She was 46 years old.

Mellissa graduated from Sapulpa High School. On July 4, 1997 she married Adrian Long.  For 22 years they built a rock-solid marriage, always finding their way through any situation.  She was a problem solver.  She always made a way and helped everyone with any problem find their way.  She always reminded her family to keep faith, and to never lose hope. She was everyone’s go to person and “Mom” Any kid that she met became her kid “everybody was hers.” Mellissa loved spending time with her kids and her grandkids.  She was all about her grandkids.  She loved family get togethers.  She loved the outdoors and camping at the lake.  She was a Godly woman.   She will be greatly missed as she was loved by many.

Mellissa is survived by her husband of 22 years, Adrian Long, brother Jason Dunn, her children, Justin and wife Sarah Dunn of Sapulpa, Alisa Dunn of Bristow, Belinda Long of Bristow, Ricky and Aysa Long of Bristow, Max and Ranger Long of Bristow.  10 grandchildren, Dominick, Kadance, Lonney, Jakob, Brantley, Blayze, Kadalynn, Anthonie, Jaycie, and Cambrie.  As well as a lot of adopted kids and grandkids. 

Mellissa was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn Faye Dunn and Robert Dunn and sisters Lonna Dunn, and Martha Dunn.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Green Hill to help with the cost of services.

Memorial Services are scheduled for June 25, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.
