Obituary of Clayton Eugene Davidson

Clayton Eugene Davidson born December 17, 1930 in Terlton, Oklahoma to Cecil and Evalee (Brown) Davidson.  He passed from this life on July 6, 2019 in Tulsa at Porta Caeli House. He was 88 years old. 

Clayton grew up near Terlton on a farm, he was the oldest of 4 siblings. After high school he went into the Navy and served for 2 years just after the end of World War II.  He was a hardworking man.  He worked many years for the State of Oklahoma as a building supervisor until his retirement.  He met the love of his life in the1970’s, Gaylyn Christian.  The couple was married and enjoyed more than 44 years together. 

He was active at his church, St. Matthews Episcopal in Sand Springs,OK he served as a Jr. Warden and mowed the lawn for 30 years. 

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Davidson and Evalee Parks, and his son Mike.

He is survived by his wife Gaylyn, sons Dean Bond and wife Lynn, Randy Bond, daughters Rita Belcher, Jody Anderson and husband Dennis, siblings Sybil Lovett, Donna Davidson, Donald Ray Davidson, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. 

No visitation is scheduled.

Funeral Service - 10:00am Monday July 15, 2019 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.

Final Resting Place - Green Hill Mausoleum Sapulpa.
