Obituary of Margaret Jane Buttram

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Margaret Jane (Mobley) Buttram, 85, went gently into the welcoming arms of our Lord on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the T Boone Pickens Hospice Center in Dallas, Texas.  She was born in Sapulpa July 28, 1934 to James and Refa Mobley.    Margaret married Clyde Buttram on June 5, 1951.  The Sapulpa area was her home for 81 years prior to her move to Texas.

Margaret loved the Lord, talking to her family and friends, laughing, old time gospel music, and reading the Sapulpa Herald from front to back.   Most of her work life was as a nurse at Bartlett Memorial Hospital, then at St Francis Hospital where she loved taking care of others and met life-long friends.

Margaret is survived by daughters Janice Bingley and husband Chester and Renee Junell and husband Don Perry, grandsons Jeremy Bingley and Matthew Junell, brothers Alva Mobley and Frankie Mobley, sister Barbara Castleberry, and great grandchildren Jayce Bingley, Morgan Ramsey and Corban Bingley.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents James and Refa Mobley, her husband Clyde Buttram, a grandson Jason Blackwell and brothers JW Mobley, John Mobley and Harold Mobley.

Arrangements are being handled by Green Hill Funeral Home.
