Obituary of Wanda Mae Muir

Wanda Mae Muir (Martin) was born in Kellyville, Oklahoma on September 2, 1941 to John Alfred Martin and Bertha Mae (Turner) Martin and was received in Heaven on September 17, 2019 at the age of 78.

 

Wanda was a longtime employee and retired from Liberty Glass.  She also owned a laundry mat in Sapulpa.  She lived in Mounds, Oklahoma and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mounds.  Wanda married Harry Muir on June 22, 2017 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  One of her joys was time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents John Alfred Martin and Bertha Mae Martin; her son Mark William Barnett; brothers Bobby Gene Martin, Johnny Alfred Martin and Charles Martin; sister Beatrice Ann Betts.  She is survived by her husband Harry Muir; daughters Kim Barnett, Rhonda Jones and Karen Storer and their families, Laurie Mulliniks and family, Lisa Butler and family, Denise Dupas and family; her grandkids Michael Bowlin, Forrest Maroutsos, Kaitlyn Pigg and family, Dalton Fitzzaland and family, Stephen Sorer; great-grandkids Thomas, Serenity, Heavenly, Theo, Kambry and Kenzie.

 

The family will miss her greatly but are comforted to know they will be reunited with her Heaven.
