Obituary of Ray Clinton Luster Jr.

Please share a memory of Ray to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ray C. Luster, Jr. passed away peacefully, in the arms of our Lord, on November 17, 2019 at Rebold Manor in Okmulgee.  He was 84 years old.

Ray was born in Mounds, Oklahoma on August 8, 1935 to Ray C. Luster, Sr. and Alice Luster/Crawford.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He spent his life loving his family and leading them to God.

Ray and his wife Jeanne led the Youth Ministry at their church for many years.  She preached and he was a deacon.  The couple spent their whole lives together.  They were married for 64 years and made a larger than life impression on everyone they met.

Ray had 2 sons, 9 grandchildren and more grandchildren than they could count.  He got to meet his namesake Clinton a few days before he dies.  He said, “Well, that’s sure a Luster.”

We are celebrating Ray’s life as we know he is finally at home with his wife Jeanne and his son Richard.  He was missing them both and we are so glad they get to spend the holidays together.  If he was here right now, he would be smiling to see everyone celebrating his live.  Don’t cry for him, he is finally home.
