Obituary of Michael James Norton

Michael (Mike) James Norton was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 24, 1958 to parents Jimmy and Faye Norton. He made his journey to his new Heavenly Home to be with the Lord December 19, 2019 at the age of 61. Mike grew up with siblings Tommy and Michelle and he once made the Tulsa newspaper, being honored for knowing the most Bible verses, as a child. He made the honor roll when attending college and later became a metal fabricator. He married Dorothy (Dottie) Randell and they were blessed with children Ky, Paul, Tamika, Amber and Jeremy. He enjoyed watching Kansas City Chiefs and OU ball games, fishing, artwork and plants. Mike was preceded in death by grandmother Marie Price, father Jimmy Norton, brother Tommy Norton, four aunts and one uncle. He is survived by wife Dottie Norton of the home; mother Fay Norton of Jenks; children Ky Lentz, Paul Norton and wife Kandace of Bristow, Tamika Norton and fiancée Krys of Sapulpa, Amber Norton of the home and Jeremy Norton of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by three grandchildren Saree, Austin and Gabriel, all of Sapulpa and nephew Dakota Duckworth. Services are Saturday, Janu 4th at 10:30 at the Path Baptist Church. www.greenhillok.com
