Thomas Patrick Birdsong, Sr. was born July 27, 1949 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Ralph and Ima Jean Birdsong. He passed from this life on January 22, 2020 at the age of 70.
Thomas graduated from Sapulpa High School and worked at Affiliated Foods and as a Security Guard, but his true vocation was using his talent as a musician. He was the family comedian and had a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful storyteller.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Birdsong of Sapulpa; siblings Judy Acree, Connie Fuller, Jailynn Cooledge and William Robert Birdsong and wife Kristen; children Thomas P. Birdsong, Jr., Brenda Sue Kelley, Tina M. Decker and Patrick Burley Wilson, Bryan P. Gilliam and Nina Tillman and husband Donald; step-children Charlie Stanton, Joe Stanton, Cindy Burney and Janie Strickland; along with 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
