Obituary of Brandon Scott Borden

Brandon Scott Borden, aka “Milkman”, aka “Marshmallow” of Bixby passed away at the young age of 26 in Bixby, OK on Friday, February 7, 2020. Brandon was born in Tulsa, OK on December 3, 1993 to Kevin and Christy Borden. He was the best little brother to his sister, Brittany. Brandon was our little comedian from day one. In the fourth grade his music teacher had me on speed dial because he would cut up so much in class. He made people laugh so effortlessly. He was blessed to have a multitude of friends. He lit up every single room he walked into. Brandon had a true heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone. Brandon aspired to be a standup comic. He was constantly writing. His dream was to go to New York and make his rounds in the comedy clubs. He definitely would have made it big. He was destined for greatness. Brandon was a huge music and history buff. He would read anything history related that he could get his hands on. The amazing thing is that he retained every single thing he read. When he was little we had a teacher tell us he had a photographic memory. His IQ was only four points below Einstein! While in High School Brandon joined JROTC through school. He looked up to Master Gunny more than anything. His ROTC friends were family. They became a tight nit group, and where one was, the whole little “clan” was, almost 24/7. Brandon is survived by his Mom and Dad Christy and Kevin Borden, his Grandparents Scott and Georgia Borden, his sister Brittany Gotcher, his brother Caleb Brisbin, his niece Rilee Ward, his nephew Jackson Hopper, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Daniel Whisenhunt and Crystalle Evans, who were more like siblings, and a multitude of friends who quickly became family to him.
