Obituary of Henry Lee Weins

Please share a memory of Henry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
March 2, 2020 is a day to remember and rejoice as Henry Lee Weins left this earth to be in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. Henry of Kellyville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 with loving family at his side. Born April 25, 1941, Henry was the eldest of Henry and Lilly’s Weins four children. From a young age he was known for his genuine smile and generous nature. Henry married Patti Willingham on January 22, 1982 melding a family together with 4 teenagers. Henry’s daughters and Patti’s son and daughter were each a year apart in age. Henry was an amazing mechanic, machinist and collector of all things that “needed a little repair and it will work fine”. Henry started Weins Machine Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1975, with just a $2,500 machine lease. He later moved the shop to the Mannford area. Over the years he built a very successful business and touched many lives through the Machine Shop. He worked long and hard hours and instilled that work ethic in his daughters Leann and Sherri. Henry’s hobbies were always geared around the work that he loved. The machine shop, restoration of antique cars and his miniature Hereford cattle. Henry was always supportive of his 6 Grandchildren, whether it was attending sports events, rodeo events, or making sure they had what they needed to be successful. Henry is survived by his wife Patti of the home, children Leann Weins Cline (Tim) of Hulbert, Paul Mayberry (Teresa) of Sapulpa, Marla Sanchez Frere (John) of Tulsa and Sherri Weins Harvey (James) of Wheatland, Wyoming. Grandchildren Chris Murray (Vanessa) of Grand Prairie, Texas; Lacee Sanchez Downie (Brad) of Jenks; Bailey Pelfrey Harvard (Trevor) of Worland, Wyoming; Anthony Mayberry of Norman; Brody Mayberry of Edmond, and Cruz Sanchez of Tulsa. Great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Max and Rex Murray; Jetson Sanchez, Brixson and Gibson Downie, and Henry Harvard. Sister Betty Weins Gerrautte, and numerous nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lilly Snow Weins of Kellyville. Brothers Arthur Weins and Danny Weins. www.greenhillok.com .
